Marvão

Marvão
In 1512, King Manuel I granted it its second charter. The title of "Most Noble and Ever Loyal Town of Marvão" was granted to Marvão by Queen Maria II.
Its medieval appearance is due to the preservation of its own style. Beyond the Castle, it is its streets and alleys that give it beauty amidst the white houses and cobblestone streets, where the air is truly pure.
